The following are jointly responsible for data processing on this website under the GDPR:

Fabian Habich Consulting, vertreten durch Fabian Habich, c/o Block Services, Stuttgarter Str. 106, 70736 Fellbach
E-Mail: info@affindly.com
You can exercise your rights against each of us (Art. 26 (3) GDPR), most easily via info@affindly.com.
2. General
We only process personal data where this is necessary for a working website or where you have given consent. Legal bases are in particular Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). This website has no user accounts, forms or newsletter.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., based in the USA. When you visit it, Vercel processes technically necessary data in server log files, including IP address, time of access, requested page and browser type, to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable delivery (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on a Data Processing Addendum with Vercel Inc. that includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The list of subprocessors is available at security.vercel.com.
4. Fonts
The fonts “Archivo”, “Instrument Sans” and “DM Mono” are stored on our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or to the program providers is made when you visit the website.
5. Language choice and local storage
If you choose a language in the header, we store your choice in a cookie named “lang” (value en, de or pt-br, valid for 12 months), so the home page opens in your language next time. Without a stored choice, the home page redirects based on your browser language. This cookie is strictly necessary for the function you requested (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
6. Cookies and Google Analytics
Without your consent, this website sets no analytics cookies, loads no script from Google and sends no data to Google. Your choice in the consent banner is stored in your browser’s local storage so the banner does not appear on every visit. It never leaves your browser.
Provider: If you agree in the banner, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).
Data collected: pages viewed and time on page, where the visit came from (for example a search engine or a referring website), clicks on links to affiliate programs and on links labeled as ads, approximate location (country, region, city), device type, operating system, browser, screen resolution and language setting, plus a random identifier of your browser. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. For visits from the EU, the IP address is used on EU servers only to determine the approximate location and is then discarded.
Cookies: “_ga” and “_ga_<ID>” (to tell visitors and sessions apart), each valid for up to 2 years.
No advertising: Google signals, advertising features and ad personalization are switched off. We do not link Google Analytics to any advertising account and do not use the data for advertising. Even after your consent, the advertising settings in Google Consent Mode v2 stay “denied”.
Purpose: measuring reach and improving our content, for example which programs and guides are read.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TDDDG). Consent is voluntary. You can use the website fully without it.
Processing on our behalf: Google processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR (Google Ads Data Processing Terms).
Transfers to the USA: Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission, Art. 45 GDPR). The EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition.
Retention: analytics data is deleted automatically after 14 months.
Withdrawal: at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, with effect for the future. We then delete the analytics cookies in your browser. Processing carried out before the withdrawal remains lawful.
More information: Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Links to affiliate programs and ads
When you click a link to a program, a network or a labeled ad, you are taken to the provider’s website, in some cases via a redirect on our site (address starting with /go/). The provider may set cookies there so a sign-up or purchase can be attributed to us. The provider’s privacy policy applies. For our own recommendations, which are labeled as ads, we add campaign parameters to the target address (for example “utm_source=affindly”). They only tell the provider that the visit came from our website and contain no information about you. We do not store anything ourselves apart from our host’s technical server logs (see section 3) and, if you have consented, the click event in Google Analytics (see section 6).
8. Contact by email
If you email us, for example to request a placement or report an error, we process your details to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, for contract-related requests Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and delete them once the request is closed and no retention duties apply.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR) and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR). An email to info@affindly.com is enough.
