How we check programs

What checked means on Affindly, where our data comes from and how often we update them.

Where our data comes from

We take every value from the official program page, the program terms or the network listing. Forums, screenshots and other directories are not a source.

What the check date means

The check date shows the day we last compared all values with the source. Programs are checked again at least every 90 days and after every reported change.

Five facts to check before your first link

  1. Commission and what it is paid on
  2. Cookie window
  3. Allowed traffic sources
  4. Minimum payout and payment method
  5. Countries where the program pays

How the Affindly gauge works

The Affindly gauge says nothing about the quality of a program, a brand or its products.

The gauge combines four published facts into a value from 0 to 100. It does not judge the quality of a brand or its products.

  • Commission (40 %): compared within the same payment model.
  • Cookie window (20 %): longer windows score higher.
  • Traffic freedom (25 %): share of allowed traffic sources.
  • Getting started (15 %): instant approval scores higher.

Unknown values count as neutral, never as negative. Specialist (0 to 44) means the terms are less attractive for affiliates according to the data, for example a short cookie window or few allowed channels. Balanced is 45 to 69, Strong is 70 or more. A gauge is shown as final only for checked programs.
